Project Engineer
Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for the transfer activities of products being transferred from or to our facility.
- Will ensure that product design issues are not compromised and that the receiving facility has all the manufacturing documentation, fixtures, gauges, etc for products transferred.
- Ensures quality standardization exists between our facility and the receiving facility, and that there is a clear understanding of the processing requirements for products transferred.
- Will establish templates and methodology for transferring products.
- Ensures supply chain is maintained during the transfer of products. Collaborates with manufacturing, quality, and planning team members to ensure that all aspects of the products being transferred have been adequately addressed.
- Travels to receiving facilities to facilitate appropriate communication.
- Will perform additional duties as necessary.
Education and Experience
- The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Must have excellent PC skills and be proficient with Word Processing Software, Spreadsheet Software, Inventory Software, and Internet Software.
NOTE: This position will require 10-15% International travel.
