SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGER

 

We are a  rapidly growing company specializing in the field of multiplexed biological measurements, providing cost effective and valuable information for drug discovery, high throughput screening and proteomics research to scientists in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, government and academic research organizations. We develop, manufactures and markets cutting edge instruments and assay kits based on its proprietary electrochemiluminescence detection technology.

 

Position Summary:

 

Responsible for developing and managing the Quality System processes for selecting, evaluating, re-evaluating, and monitoring acceptability of suppliers for procurement of finished products, components, products, or services.  “Supplier,” applies to manufacturers, co-manufacturers, distributors, and service organizations. 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related science degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience of Supplier Quality and/or Purchasing related experience for FDA regulated employer(s), with a thorough understanding of Quality requirements for medical devices
  • Certification in Quality Auditing through an ASQ or ISO certification process.
  • Must have strong analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving skills.
  • Requires strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Power Point and Word).
  • Must be willing to travel 35-40%.
